Sitar genius Paikan (from Toulouse, France) debuted with a superb EP on Jazzman records in 2008. On this exclusive Mocambo 45, he is backed on the first side by his group the Sadhus for a fiery slice of chasing sitar funk, while the flip side sees the Mighty Mocambos providing the background for a laid back and groovy piece of psychedelic soul in their trademark sound.
